Mission Statement
At Little Bee's Bilingual Child Care, our mission is to support families and to enrich the lives of each child in our care through a curriculum designed to promote his/her cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
We encourage children to seek answers to their questions, develop problem-solving skills, and think creatively by providing teacher and child initiated activities in a safe, nurturing environment.
Who We Are
Little Bee's Bilingual Child Care is a State licensed and Bilingual (English and Spanish), family owned childcare program committed to providing a secure and fun learning environment for every child at each stage of their development.
Age appropriate activities are scheduled with flexibility so that I am allowed to respond to the needs of the individual child and day. We offer time for outside play, crafts, stories, instruction, and naps appropriate to the child's ages, interests, and abilities. We provide your child with tender loving care, understanding, patience and guidance in a happy family setting. Simple chores will be done as part of the day, such as picking up after activities, putting dishes away after meals, and to help organize their belongings.
For infants and toddlers who are too young to communicate with you about their day, a daily report sheet will be sent home. We provide preschool curriculum, developing large and small motor skills. We do many arts and crafts where the focus is on the process, not the product. Free play is an important part of a child's early years. It is here that they learn social skills that will be needed the rest of their lives.
